MEADOWOOD
Description: exceptionally thin, medium to large, side-notched points,of medium width, notches are shallow and very close to a straight or sometimes slightly convex base, base is sometimes ground smooth
Size Range: 4.2 cm - 8.9 cm
Cultural Affiliation: the diagnostic point of the Early Woodland, Point Peninsula complex
Distribution: predominance in northern, central and western New York and westward into the Niagara Peninsula of southeastern Ontario; sporadic finds in eastern and southern New York, and western Pennsylvania
