JACK'S REEF PENTAGONAL

Description: broad, stemless, pentagonal points;  base generally straight, sometimes slightly concave
Size Range: 2.6 cm - 4.4 cm, predominantly in the 3.2 cm - 3.7 cm range
Cultural Affiliation: Point Peninsula, Owasco and Intrusive Mound cultures;  later Middle Woodland through Late Woodland periods
Distribution: most often in central and eastern New York;  also known in Ohio and Virginia
