SNOOK KILL
Description: very broad, large, thick, contracted stem points with
pronounced shoulders
Size Range: 5.1 cm to 10.2 cm in length with most falling in the
range of 3.1 cm and 4.3 cm; 5 mm -7 mm thick
Cultural Affiliation: Late Archaic, affiliated with Lehigh, Koens-Crispin
and Savannah River types
Distribution: mainly occurs in Eastern
New York, particularly the Hudson River Valley; also recovered in Northeastern
Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Delaware and New Jersey
