VIRTUAL POINT RESTORATIONS
by Jim Fisher

The fragment at far left was originally part of a Barnes fluted point from Ontario, Canada.  It seems likely that the fragment was picked up by a member of a later aboriginal culture and notched.  The center image is the virtual restoration illustrating what the original Barnes point may have looked like in its entirety.  The image at right, provided for comparison, is of a cast of a complete Barnes fluted point.
