May 27, 2001

The assemblage of artifacts pictured at left  was found in a corn field in Monroe County, New York on May 27th.

Pictured below is a combination muller and pestle.  The ventral surface shown here has been ground flat through use.

A knife or point preform lay partially exposed after heavy rains.

At left is a nice point recovered by my brother, Jody, who joined me on this hunt.
